The Orions are a scientifically advanced alien humanoid race, their homeworld is planet Orion Prime, Orionis system on the Orion Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy. The Orion Empire presently controls the 3/4 of the Orion Arm and over 5,000 systems of the Perseus Arm of the Galaxy.

In 14 AD, the Orion Empire established its first intergalactic colonies in the Large Magellanic Cloud Galaxy. They are currently in an intergalactic war with the Doradi, an alien humanoid species of unknown origin from the Large Magellanic Cloud Galaxy.

Orion Galactic Empire

On April 25, 25 AD, on planet Orion Prime - the homeworld of the Orion Empire, the Empire established the Orion Galactic Empire creating the Orion Galactic Council, the Orion Galactic Court and Orion Galactic Defense Force. The Galactic Empire Act created the office of Galactic Chancellor as head of government of the Orion Galactic Empire. The Galactic Chancellor is head of the Council of Regents and leader of the Orion Galactic Council.

The Act, established the planet Orion Prime as the homewworld and Capital Planet of the Orion Galactic Empire. It further divided the Orion Empire into Twelve Regional Imperial Zones - Orion Prime, Tauron, Theron, Danae, Argos, Medusa (Perseus Arm), Serifos (Perseus Arm), Laelaps, Prometheus, Pandora, Chronos, and Erebus - each region is headed by a Governor-General (Regent), who is the elected leader of its Regional Imperial Council.

SOCIETY

Orion society is based upon a feudal military system under the control of the Great Orion Imperial Houses and member world Representatives - which together compose the Orion Galactic Council.

Imperial Service

Based on standard testing, Orion citizens are selected for the Imperial service at age 15. The Imperial service is divided into seven service classifications: Government, Corporate, Scientist, Construction, Space Resources, Security Service and Military.

BIOLOGY

The Orions resemble humans almost exactly, with the exception of blue skin, growing blue eyes and elf-like ears. They have an average lifespan: 500 years for non-enhanced Orion civillian polulation, 2,000 - 3,000 years for military enhanced Black Sentinels.

Pregnancy

Orion pregnancies normally last 6 months, but with mixed speies, gestation can vary. Orion children experience rapid growth and development from childhood into adults - reaching adulthood in seven human years, an Adult Orion's height ranges from between 5 to 7 feet (1.5 to 2.1 m) tall.

Adult Aging Process

At full adulthood - 7 human years, the Orion aging process slows:

to 1 year for every 5 human years for the non-enhanced Orion civillian polulations giving an average lifespan of (500 years); and

1 year for every 50 human years for military enhanced Black Sentinel Orions giving an average lifespan of (3,000 years).

Power and Abilities

Superhuman - strength, endurance, and speed, with enhanced eye sight and hearing, female are born with telepathic abilities.

ORGINS OF ORION RACE

THE AEON EMPIRE (3,000,000 - 2,500,000 BC)

In the Earth year 3,000,000 BC, an Ancient race known as the Aeon a technology advanced humaniod civilization became the first species to construct stable Artificial Wormholes and travel the Spacetime Continuum. The Aeon were masters of Spacetime - able to change matter into energy, and first to travel extra-dimensional planes of the Multiverse.

From their homeworld planet Emortas, located on the Outer Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy. The Aeon using the Aeon Wormhole network and a Fleet of FTL Starships traveled across the Known Universe seeding thousands of worlds with intelligent life. By 2,500,000 BC, the Aeon Empire spanned over 3 million lights years and encompassed over 48 galaxies including the Milky Way, Andromeda, and Trianglum galaxies.

In the Milky Way Galaxy, the Aeon were the creators of the first Ancient Super Races: the Primordials (Perseus Arm), the Volur (Carina–Sagittarius Arm), the Elementum (Scutum–Centaurus Arm) and the Natura (Norma Arm) - races of of pure energy, with the powers of Gods. In 2,508,000 BC, after a wormhole to a distance galaxy was discovered by the Primordials orbiting the planet Nexia - a planet 444 light years from Gaia (Earth), the Aeon declared the Nexia star system a Forbidden system banning all travel to Nexia by the Ancient Super Races.

Primordial-Volur War

From 2,500,050 - 2,500,000 BC, a fifty year war was fought by the Primodials and Volur for control of Gaia (Earth). The Primordial-Volur War was ended by the Aeon in 2,500,000 BC, when the Aeon delcared the Trias (Third) Arm - presently known as the Orion Arm of the Milky way Galaxy, a neutral zone to separate the warring races. The maintain the peace all Aeon wormholes connecting the Primodial and Volur Dominions to the Trias Arm. The Aeon created a Helion - extra-dimensional prison world hidden deep inside the Multiverse, to imprison anyone who violates the peace accord by traveling into the Trias Arm now known as the Forbidden Arm.

Nexia-Archean Wormhole

The Nexia-Archean Wormhole. An Intergalactic wormhole that spans 55 million light years connecting the Nexia system (Milky Way Galaxy) and the Archean system (Helios Galaxy) located near the event horizon of an Intergalactic black hole called Eterna - causing serve time diliation effects, of an average 168 years per day on all who travel there. These effects Eterna of would would create a Temporal Paradox for anyone who travel to Archea and returns back to Nexia - effecting the spacetime continuum in the Milky Way Galaxy.

The Nexia-Archean Wormhole appears every 26,000 years, establishing a connection between the two galaxies for a period of 394 years. The current Wormhole connection began in 12,000 BC and will end in 11,606 BC. The Nexia-Archean Wormhole will reappear again in the year 14,000 AD.

THE PRIMORDIALS (2,500,000 - 11,700 BC)

The Rise of the Primordial Empire

In 2,500,000 BC, an Ancient super race known as the Primordials using a Fleet of FTL Starships and a network of Jumpgate - they travelled across the Peresus Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy from their homeworld Primodium colonizing hundreds of worlds. To protect these worlds, the Primordials created the Titans - a race of Gods-like humaniods. For two million years, life on the Primodial Worlds developed in peace under the protection of the Titans, but that would in 300,000 BC with the War of the Titans (300,000 - 299,990 BC).

War of the Titans

In 300,000 BC, a group of young Rebel Titans known as the Olympians, lead by the Titan Zeus fought a series of wars for control of planet Thessaly, homeworld of the Titans. The Olympians were victorious, the Titan King Cronus and his forces were imprisoned by the Primodial Tartarus - with the exception of Clymene and her son Prometheus who allied with Zeus. For leaving the Titan attack against the Olympians, Atlas - the other son of Clymene, was imprisoned by Zeus for eternity on the Titan planet Thessaly.

Zeus delcared himself God-Emperor of the planet Thessaly and the new Olympian Empire. Prometheus was name God Regent of planet Othrys - the former military base Titan King Cronus.

THE OLYMPIAN EMPIRE (12,000 - 11,700 BC)

Rise of the Olympian Empire

The Primordials now nearing the end of their life cycle, fearful that Zeus and the Olympians would move against Primordium, in 12,000 BC they exiled the Olympian Worlds - Thessaly, Olympus, and Othrys, from the Primodial Empire destroying the jumpgates to their Empires.

Now cutoff from the Primodial Empire, Zeus expanded the Olympian Empire across the Perseus Transit - constructing jumpgates from the Perseus Arm to the border of the Orion Arm. By 11,730 BC, the Olympian Empire spanned hundreds of Worlds inside the Perseus Transit.

The Titan Conspiracy

In 11,730 BC, the Titan Conspiracy begins. After the Inventor Daedalus is exiled to Othrys moon Kreatan for the murder of his nephew, the Inventor Talos. Seeing an opportunity to enlist the services of Daedalus to their cause. A secret plan is created by the Titaness Clymene to free her son Atlas from imprisonment on planet Thessaly and return the Titans to power.

A giant Automaton of Titan Atlas was made by Daedalus to be used as a replacement for Atlas in his prison, thereby allowing him to be freed by his brother Prometheus. To make their escape back to Othrys, Daedalus build the Aeolus, a Stealth Starship equipped with a first slipspace engine - a star drive capable of traveling 2,000 light years per day. Following the sucessful prison breakout of Atlas, a rebellion would began against Zeus in the Othrys System and spread across the entire Olympian Empire.

The Second Titan War

In 11,725 BC, after five years of secret planning the Second Titan War began...

Atlas was freed by Prometheus and Daedalus, they returned on the starship Aeolus back to Othrys to lead the Rebellion. Caught by surprise, the Olympian forces of Zeus were forced to retreat as star system after star system fell to the Titan Rebel Fleet. The Battle of Thessaly would mark the major turning point of the war.

Titan Rebel forces suffered their first major losses of war, including the Death of the Titaness Clymene - killed when her command carrier the Nemeis was destroyed. After the Rebels failed to reach the Gates of Tartarus to free the imprisoned Titans, the Olympian launched a major counter offensive to reclaim the Rebel held star systems. The final battle of the war, Battle of Othrys in 11,726 BC, would end with the destruction of remaining Titan Rebel Fleet. The Titans Rebellion Leaders: Atlas, Prometheus, Daedalus escaped capture - fleeing the Olympian Empire on the starship Aeolus into the Forbidden Arm presently known as the Orion Arm.

Enraged by the escape of the Rebel Leaders, Zeus sends his Consort the Titaness Leto, along with his greatest two hunter: Orion (son of Poseison) and Artemis (daugther of Zeus), into the Forbidden Arm to hunt them down.

THE FORBIDDEN ARM (11,705 - 11,700 BC)

Birth of the Clymenean Empire

The Orion race began in 11,721 BC as the Clymeneans, on Planet Aria also known as Titania (present day Orion Prime) with interspecies relations between the Aria, the ancient humaniod race of the planet, and the Titans: Atlas, Prometheus and Daedalus - the great inventor, discovered the planet Aria in the Forbidden Arm of the Milky Way galaxy. The Aria star system containing five habitable worlds, was renamed the Clymene system by Atlas and Prometheus, in honor of their fallen mother the Titaness Clymene. Their marriages and children creating new races and civilizations: the Atlanteans, Prometheans and Daedaleans.

The Hunt for Atlas

Still being hunted by the forces of Zeus for leading the Second Titan War (11,725 - 11,726 BC) against the Olympian Empire. In 11,700 BC, a Hunter Force led by the Titaness Leto, along with the Empires greatest two hunter: Orion (son of Poseison) and Artemis (daugther of Zeus) would the discover the planet - forcing them to flee once again - with Atlas leaving young daughter behind Princess Atlasia, under the protection of her guardian Arian Lady Thera.

When Orion arrives at the Palace of Atlas, he's too late Atlas is gone and the Lady Thera has sent the Princess Atlasia into hiding. Fearful that Orion would hunt the Princess down, she agrees to help them hunt Atlas. She lead them to a star system called Nexia, in the Shadow of the Star of Atlas - in this system there is a Gateway to many Worlds (Intergalactic Wormhole).

They would arrive in Nexia a full month before Atlas. During this time, Lady Thera would train with Orion's hunters known as Slayers. Atlas avoids the trap escaping into the wormhole. Orion volunteers to go after him, having grown close he and Lady Thera spend their last night together - their union would produce a son, Orionis.

The Birth of Orionis

After the birth of Orionis, Lady Thera returned back home - with Hunter Sirion and the Huntress Canisa - to protect the Princess Atlasia - daughter of Atlas and rightful heir to the Atlantean throne, until the Rites of Accession in 2 years and 321 days. In 11,697 BC, Princess Atlasia would ascend to the throne becoming Empress of Atantis. Lady Thera would complete her hunting training with Hunter Sirion and the Huntress Canisa to become the first Black Sentinel. In 11,693 BC, Orionis completed his Black Sentinel training and 11,690 BC, would become the Commander of the Atlantean 1st Black Sentinel Legion.

Creation of the Orion Empire

Fearful of the growing military power of the Atlanteans, in 11,687 BC, the Eastern Alliance was formed - a military alliance between the Prometheans and Daedaleans. In 11,685 BC, war erupted between the Atlantean Empire and Eastern Alliance - a World War that would last four years. Following the defeat of the Eastern Alliance in the Battle of Promethea by the Black Sentinel forces lead by Orionis - the Orion Empire was created in 11,683 BC.

In 11,682 BC, Orionis would marry Empress Atlasia and together they would become the first rulers of the Orion Empire. In 11,680 BC, planet Titanis would be renamed Orion Prime and the Clymene star system would become known as the Orionis system.
