HISTORY - THE MOON VAMPIRIA

Vampiria is homeworld and capital of the Imperial Vampire Empire. Vampiria is the seventh moon of the gas giant Vamtrix, which orbits the star Vel'dor - 328 light years from Earth, in the constellation Vela.

VELORUM EMPIRE RULE (9571 - 6999 BC)

In 9577 BC, a the Velorum taskforce was sent on a long range survey mission to explore a space corridor to the border of the Alpha/Beta quadrant. The mission would last 5 years, exploring and charting a 500 light-year corridor, that would become known as the Velorum-Earth Corridor. In 9576 BC, Taskforce Vel'Ga, explores a habitat system 328 light-years from Earth - containing an Earth-like habitable moon. The Velorum name the star system, Vel'dor (Velorum's Gate), the habitat moon - designated as VS-117.

In 9530 BC, the Velorum establish a military colony on the VS-117 to reinforce the defensive ring around their homeworld, New Veloria. They construct major military facilities: including shipyards, fleet anchorages and space battle stations.

In 9526 BC, the Velorum create the Vampire Naval Force with its fleet anchorage at VS-117.

In 8383 BC, the Vampire Council on VS-117, is chartered by Velorum Emperor Ta'Vel as the governing body of all Vampires on VS-117.

In 7740 BC, the moon VS-117 is renamed Vampiria, an is designated as a colony world for the Vampire race. The Vampirium, is chartered by Velorum Emperor Ta'Vel as the supreme governing body representing all Vampires in the Velorum Empire.

CREATION OF THE VAMPIRE EMPIRE (6999 BC)

After the Atlanteans were granted empire status by the Orion Empire in 7073 BC. Velorum Empire counter their move in 6999 BC, giving the Vampirium Empire status with the creation of the Vampire Empire. The power of Lord Invictus and the Imperial Houses would grow on Vampiria, but the First Ones would continue rule over Vampire affairs for the next 3499 years until the events of the Great Purge: The Vampire Civil War (3504 - 3110 BC).

The Great Vampire Civil War also known as the Great Purge (3504-3110 BC), a Vampire interstellar Civil war - between the First Vampire Faction (First Ones) and the Imperial Vampire Houses for control of the Vampire Empire.

CREATION OF THE IMPERIAL VAMPIRE EMPIRE (3110 BC)

Following the defeat of First Ones, Lord Invictus proclaimed himself Emperor of the Imperial Vampire Empire. In 3110 BC, peace talks were held aboard the Velorum Battle Cruiser, Ra' Vel to end the Vampire Civil ( - 3110 BC). The Vampire Empire was divided into two empires: the Imperial Vampire Empire and the First Vampire Faction. Imperial Vampire Lord Invictus was proclaimed Emperor of the Imperial Vampire Empire. The moon Vampiria was named as the homeworld and capital of the empire.

The First Ones established the First Vampire Faction to represent its interests in the Vampirium. The Exilium - members of the First Ones who those exile rather than live under the rule of Emperor Invictus, established a new homeworld on Planet Tartarus (3110 BC - 14 AD) governed by the Council of Nine.

THE FIRST GALACTIC WAR (1530 - 1322 BC)

During the Second Vampire-Atlantean War (1530 -1322 BC) in the First Galactic War (1530 - 1322 BC) moon Vampiria was on the frontline of the war. The Imperial Vampire Empire fleet advance was finally stopped in the Battle of Atlas (1480 BC) and Battle of Avalon (1480 BC).

RESURRECTION OF VELORUM EMPEROR TA'VEL (352 BC)

After laying in stasis for 7,092 years, Emperor Ta'Vel - First Star Emperor of the Velorum Star Empire, is resurrected to the First Galactic Emperor of the Velorum Empire, the Supreme Sovereign of the which now extends from the Inner Orion Arm through the Perseus Transit into the Perseus Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy.

THE SECOND GALACTIC WAR (352 BC - 14 AD)

Seeking to restore the Velorum Empire's former colonies in the Beta Quadrant of the Orion Arm, Velorum Emperor Ta'Vel orders the invasion of the Beta Quadrant by the Velorum Alliance. On Earthdate 113, at 18:00 hours, Velorum and Imperial Vampire Forces crossed the border into Earth Space attacking Fleet Battle Station 65 on the Theseus line - a series of Orion Alliance Space Stations defending the Earth Space border. Beginning the Second Galactic War, a series of regional interstellar wars, between the Velorum Alliance and the Orion Alliance lasting 34 years. The Front-Line of the War would span across 3,000 light-years, with total casualties and loses of over 2 billion dead.

After 34 years of war, the Velorum Empire was finally defeated by the Orion Empire in the Second Battle of Orion's Belt. Imperial Vampire Forces, are driven from Earth Space - all sectors within a 300 light-year radius of Earth. First Vampire Faction, are driven from Earth Space back to their homeworld Tartarus. The final battle of the Second Galactic War, the Battle of Tartarus (14 AD), ended with the destruction of all major cities on Tartarus and the deaths of over 50 million. Because of the great loss of life on both sides in the battle, Tartarus is known as "Ghost" and the region is known as "Ghost Space".

On Earthdate 321, at 01:00 hours, the Velorum Alliance and the Orion Alliance sign the EarthZone Accords the treaty ending the Second Galactic War. The Treaty, declared Earth as a protected planet - no interference the technological development of the planet. It created the EarthZone, a protected zone of space - 300 light-year radius surrounding Earth, to be reserved for future Human colonization. Ghost Space was declared restricted space - no colonization allowed, the planet Tartarus also known as Ghost to be a Forbidden Planet - no landing or contact permitted. To protect EarthZone, it created the Earth Security Organization (ESO) and Earth Space Command (ESC).

THE PAX ORION (14 AD - PRESENT)

With the creation of the ESO, two thousand years of peace comes to the Galaxy, the worlds of Atlas, Avalon and Atlantis prospered during the time known as the Pax Orion.

To keep the peace the Atlantean Defense Forces joins the Earth Space Organization (ESO) and Earth Space Command (ESC). Atlantean Black Sentinels once again defense the line in the EarthZone, maintaining the peace and keeping Orion free.

After the Second Galactic War, the moon Vampiria is now shadow of its self, its great major cities damaged during the war. It would be another five hundred years before Vampiria would return to its former glory.
